Diversity and Organization Development

Our motto is "Diversity Solutions with a Difference".

How is our consulting assistance "different"?

1. We recognize the interconnectedness of Diversity and Organization Development issues. Preventing workplace harassment requires both good Diversity policy and management skills. We help you sort out what your organization requires to improve teamwork and morale. Depending on our and your assessment, our OD work may stand-alone or it may be combined with Diversity interventions.

2. We recognize that in order to achieve Diversity Advantage our clients must not only recognize Diversity they must also value, manage and leverage Diversity to advance business and mission goals. We provide planning and skill development to help an organization through these four states of Diversity development.

3. We address all major aspects of Diverstiy - and we devote special attention to gender issues. Male and female roles continue to change in our society. Employees and clients bring many different attitudes and behaviors toward gender into our organizations. How should our organizations address the tensions and possibilities in gender relations? In our Gender Relations for Success programs and services we say, "No More Walking on Eggshells". We want women and men to achieve organizational comfort and productivity - and we help them do it.

What about "Solutions"?

Many of our clients have had some experience with Diversity and OD assistance. They require specific assistance with expressed and felt needs. They do not want formulae that come from other places and organizations. We work with you to produce solutions that are yours.

That is why, for example, we have developed a one-day workshop for H. R. Department Staff — "Helping H. R. Staff to Implement Human Rights Policy". Participating in this program gives your H. R. Department the capacity to solve problems before they grow unmanagable.
